Harshad Mehta, the great contributer to India

Dear friends,
Mr. Kejariwal has been telling what everyone know but does he has any solution to the problem. The problem is not new and is international. It is like match fixing, you know that cricket matches are being fixed but you don't know which one is not fixed. Whether a match is fixed or not and if you want entertainment, it is up to you to watch a cricket match or leave it. Match will be played irrespective of the fact whether you watch or not. You can do very little or nothing under the present system.
Do you remember Harshad Mehta who was the cause of one good thing at least "birth of National Stock Exchange (NSE) in India". So everything negative contributes to some thing positive and I am sure Kejariwal has also emerged to contribute something good for India. My only suggestion to him (if he has time to listen !!!!!) is that he should now start talking of the solutions if he has any. People no more want to hear the examples of age old and international problem. Too many examples in the story will make it boring. Does he has a blue print to carry out the sweeping reforms he intends to do? Does he has enough candidates of desired calibre to carry out reforms? Wish list is not enough.
Do you remember Mr. Harshad Mehta? An interesting coverage on the update about his case which appeared in Moneylife by Sucheta Dalal who broke Harshad Mehta story first time. To read click the link below and enjoy:

Have a wonderful day,

Indian start ups with Indian Names

Good morning,
Navin Gupta from Mumbai wrote to me yesterday "You have given the details only for male members, what about female members." Navin, I realized this need myself but for the lack of sufficient information, unable to develop a family chart for our respected female members presently. However I fully appreciate your  concern and that is why I wrote following request on October 25, 2012:

I wish some one in our family should take up the project to gather the names of the female members of our family and develop a family chart. How about posting to me details about this as much as you know for the time being to develop the chart at a later date when we have sufficient information.

I sincerely request all the members of the family to get involved in this project to develop a family chart for the very respected members of our family and help in breaking the age-old tradition of keeping a chart of only male members of the family. Please come forward and send me the information as much as you have with you and I will try to develop the family chart as desired by Navin and others.

Now for today's reading, I have with me a slide show giving details of the "Famous Indian Startups with interesting Desi Names".
Enjoy and share with me and other members of our family your comments and more information, if any, on the subject. Perhaps it might motivate one of our family member to start some project of his own.
All the very best for the Sunday enjoyment and my best regards to all,
Atul

Revised Family Chart

Thanks

Many thanks for the excellent encouragement received from all of you through your mails.
Mr. Bhooprakash spoke to me yesterday from Navasari. Thanks you very much for pointing out that I have missed to include the name of Dear Shivam s/o Shri Sharad in the family chart. I will correct the chart shortly and republish. Thanks once again for the active interest in the project and your encouragement.

Today I am publishing the pictures of first few pages from the Dashera Book. These are the pages for the Dashera celebrated on 6 October 1929 and gives family chart prepared at that time. This also shows the exact words used to write Dashera Puja. The first picture is of the book itself and then the pages. Please enjoy the history:

In fact you can also see the signatures of some of our respected members of the family at that time. This is the practice that each of the family member present in the Puja signs and names of those members are written  who are not present at the time of Dashera Puja.
Please do write to me the information you have about Dashera Puja tradition being followed in our family now.
Once again thanks to all of you for your cooperation and encouragement.
